A Community Conversation about the Confederate Monuments

On Wednesday, September 27, 7 pm, join the community discussion about Bolton Hill’s racial history through an examination of Memorial Episcopal Church’s involvement, as well as that of other prominent residents in the not too distant past.

Hopefully, we can provide some movement forward for what comes next regarding not just the empty plinths, but how we deal with issues of Race and Racism in our community.

The guest panel includes, Sheila Gaskins, Founder ApARTeid, Ryan Patterson, Baltimore Office of Promotion and Arts, Eli Pousson, Baltimore Heritage, Zion Douglass, President, Black Student Union MICA, and Dr. Jean Lee Cole, Professor, Loyola University + Bolton Hill Neighbor.

Everyone is invited to attend and help continue our neighborhood’s truth and reconciliation process. Read related article here.
